Rogers
Rogers Model #9292 Oval Cover Plate
If you remove a SWIV-O-MATIC or KNOBBY mounting plate from a drum shell, THIS is the cover plate you will need to conceal the unsightly residual holes. It perfectly fits the same hole pattern and covers the same "foot print". Just like Rogers did! Re-use your original carriage bolts for mounting.
$50.00 each
Mounting hardware (sold separately) - $12.00 for set of 4 (carriage bolts, flat washers, hex nuts)
Ludwig
Ludwig Model #P-1610CP Diamond Cover Plate
When the Ludwig P1610-D double tom bracket is removed from the top of a bass drum there are 5 holes exposed; 4 for the carriage bolts and one big one for the pipe. This P-1610-CP is a "cover plate" designed to fit, SOLELY and EXCLUSIVELY, over those holes, utilizing the original 4 holes in the shell (and carriage bolts) and therefore cover the same "foot print" as the P1610-D double tom bracket. This a clean cosmetic way of concealing the 5 unsightly holes. Ludwig NEVER made such a plate.......Rogers did and that's where I got the idea for it. This is a newly manufactured part.....not salvaged from something else, misidentified, or mislabeled as something it's not......(such as the backing plate used inside Slingerland tom toms ......which does LOOK similar).
The plate itself is square, although it is set on point, hence the term "diamond plate".
C/C hole dimensions are 2 &1/8" (as was the P1610-D bracket).
If you don't have a Ludwig drum set with a P1610-D bracket that has been removed, then this is not what you want. :)
